Poverty, By America

by Matthew Desmond

Poverty, by America, written by Matthew Desmond, the Pulitzer Prize–winning author of Evicted, asks why there is so much poverty in the most prosperous nation in the world. The book challenges us to consider how we might build a more just society. It offers new ways to think about this grand challenge, as well as practical solutions that may inspire students to become advocates for change.

Please check back for additional details about when the book will be available on campus. Additional resources will be published soon.
